Now most of you know that programmers and QA tester do not get along too well. Programmers believe QA is under minding them, while QA believes that programmers are a bunch of prima donnas that will give more then they take. I am here to sort of mend broken bridges, in a ways to improve relations between programmer and QA tester to create a team that functions together better.
Programmers and QA share a symbiotic relationship with one another, basically one does not exist without the other. With that said lets see how we can better improve on this relationship in 2 easy steps.
Step One Communication:
Communication is key in any relationship, be it personal or professional. You know it, I know it, and your parents know it so use it. Emails, text messages, phone, and if you really need to get a message across yes carrier pigeon.
Step Two Compromise:
Programers and QA must compromise in order to get work done. At one point or another one party must compromise to the other. Do not think of it as you are bowing down to their needs think of it as getting extra points to be cashed in later.
With these two step anyone can better improve on any relationship. Now let’s get to it and love one another.

I ran into an Aerospace engineer the other day at a party. When he found out what I did, I could tell he didn’t like me in the least bit. He was young thought. Maybe someday he’ll learn to like QA.
