Participants deep in thought...
SQA Resources completed a two week training session on Selenium this last weekend. Topics covered were Selenium IDE and RC and other related technologies such as XPath. The sessions were conducted over two separate Saturdays: April 10 and April 24, between the hours of 8AM to 12PM, both days. The participants varied from very experienced QA professions, to those just entering the QA profession, and included several SQA Resources associates as well as non-associates. The purpose of the training was to expose the participants to Selenium. The participants gained a tremendous amount of experience on a very popular, open-source, tool.
SQA Resources conducts training every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. For the month of May, the topic covered will be Performance and Load testing. This will include hands on training with JMeter and Siege. For more information visit SQA Resources’ training site at http://www.sqaresources.com/training.php

I enjoyed the training very much. I walked away with many new skills including some great Selenium tips and how to find quick and easy script help. I also improved my basic scripting skills. I’m definitely looking forward to the Performance Testing next month.

I agree with Tim! Even though I’ve been using Selenium for over a year, these training sessions showed me additional methods I could use to test my applications more extensively.
You will definitely see me at many more of these events!
Thanks SQA!
